The CARDIALLY Consortium is co-organiseing  ML-Photonica 2019, a symposium/workshop coinciding with the biennual international conference PHOTONICA 2019.

The event is being prepared in collaboration with Vinča Institute of Nuclear Sciences, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Aston Institute of Photonic Technologies,  Optical Society of Serbia and programme partners H2020-COFUND-MULTIPLY and H2020-EID-FONTE.

The name of the symposium reflects the two-way transfer of knowledge between the disciplines – the topics covered thus include not only applications of ML in photonics, but also how photonics is fostering the ML revolution itself. This symposium will be bringing together specialists in photonics applying advanced machine learning techniques. It will be a wonderful opportunity for crossdisciplinary interaction, and to facilitate incubation of new ideas.
The symposium will be attended by leading academics in the field of photonics and machine learning, early career researchers and PhD students, who work in photonics and allied fields of interest.

The two-day event will take place 26th-27th Aug 2019 at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Belgrade, Serbia.
